Theedoek Aapjes 50x70cm
This luxurious jacquard-woven cotton tea towel with playful monkeys is sure to bring a smile to your face. The monkeys are having a great time, climbing and clambering among Delft blue branches—a nod to a popular theme from the history of Delft blue porcelain. This "aperij"—the imitation of human behavior by monkeys—adds a lighthearted, satirical touch to the design. Beyond a touch of whimsy, monkeys symbolize wisdom and long life in Asian culture, making this tea towel both cheerful and meaningful.
