Soaps
A little piece of Dutch art for your bathroom: that's our collection of Dutch soaps. Each bar comes in its own box decorated with an image from Dutch art history, from Delft Blue tiles and seventeenth-century tulips to Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring and the paintings of Van Gogh. They're packed in sets of three and smell wonderful, with scents such as lavender, narcissus and rose. A thoughtful souvenir or small gift that looks rather more special than you might expect.
Dutch soap gift sets: a fragrant souvenir with a story
Soap may sound like an everyday gift, but the right packaging turns it into something special. Our soaps come in boxes featuring artworks you'll also find in the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum. That makes them a lovely alternative to a magnet or keyring: just as easy to take home, but with a more luxurious feel. And once the soap is used up, you can keep the box as a memento.
De Holland Winkel has been selling Dutch souvenirs since 2002. In this category you'll find our Dutch-themed soaps and shower gels, so you can easily choose a set that suits the person you're buying for.
Which Dutch soaps can you choose from?
Delft Blue tile soaps
Lavender soaps in boxes decorated with Delft Blue tiles full of birds of paradise. The designs are based on a tile pattern from 1725 in the Rijksmuseum collection. Perfect for anyone who loves classic Dutch blue.
Tulip soaps
The boxes show tulips painted by Jacob Marrel, an artist from the era of tulip mania. In the seventeenth century a single tulip bulb could cost more than a canal house; thankfully these tulips are far more affordable.
Girl with a Pearl Earring
Pearl-shaped soaps in boxes featuring Johannes Vermeer's famous portrait. Each set includes three scents: lavender, narcissus and rose.
Van Gogh and Monet
Lavender soaps with paintings by Vincent van Gogh on the packaging. You'll also find Claude Monet here; he travelled to Holland in 1886 to paint the bulb fields in full bloom.
A thoughtful gift for any occasion
Because each set contains three separate boxes, you can give them together or share them out between several people. They're light, well packaged and fit easily in your suitcase, which makes them ideal souvenirs to take home or to send to friends and family abroad.
