5 piece cheese knife set "Delft Blue"

Nice set of five sturdy cheese knives decorated with Delft blue tulips and birds. A nice gift for the "real" Dutch cheese lover. Of course we also explain here what these knives are actually for:

The broad knife

Seems a bit like a putty knife. Suitable for hard cheeses such as an old Cheddar or Parmesan cheese. Insert the knife into the cheese and press it down. The sharp edge is at the front.

The thin knife

This knife is also flat, and is for semi-hard cheeses such as an Edam. This knife has a cutting edge on both sides.

Round and pointed knife

This knife can be used to spread, but can also be put into a somewhat harder cheese.

The fork

This is to pick up already cut piece of cheese or to break up crumbling cheeses.

The long knife

Suitable for cutting and smearing soft cheeses.
