Syrupwaffles in delft blue tin

Warm, sweet and delicious! The Dutch dictionaries describe the syrupwaffle as: "a waffle consisting of two layers with syrup in between them"

Popular in the Netherlands since 1810, these days you can find the original Gouda syrup waffles in stores from Amsterdam to Tokyo.  Extremely popular with tourists, they take their preference for this treat back home . There are even syrup waffle bakeries from America to South Africa that make these genuine Dutch waffles. But the real artisan baked syrup waffles ? They still come from the Netherlands.

Delicious to eat , but also very suitable as a gift. For who does not enjoy a syrupy waffle  ? This truly Dutch gift is welcomed everywhere in the world. They even taste better when warmed up over a cup of coffee or tea. This way, the syrup becomes soft and fluid , making the waffles taste wonderfully soft.

Our Deaelmans syrup waffles have a diameter of 8 cm and are filled with a soft butter syrup filling enriched with natural Bourbon vanilla. The syrup waffles are packed in a delft blue tin with Dutch scenes on tiles. 

Each can contains eight syrup wafers with a diameter of 8 cm. The can has a diameter of 10cm and a height of 8 cm.
