Holland Magnets
Windmills on the horizon, bulb fields in every colour, a bicycle leaning against a gable and a wheel of cheese on the board: with our Holland magnets you can put the whole country on your fridge. Choose from 3D windmills with turning sails, bicycles with wheels that really spin, Delft Blue tile magnets, vintage designs and handy magnetic bottle openers. Most magnets cost just a few euros, so it's easy to pick up several: one for home, a few for colleagues and one for the family back home.
Holland fridge magnets: the Netherlands in your kitchen
Strictly speaking, Holland is only part of the Netherlands: the provinces of North and South Holland. Yet the rest of the world has long known the whole country by that name, which is why "Holland" appears on so many souvenirs. Where Amsterdam magnets focus on the canals and the capital, these magnets capture the Netherlands beyond the city: polder mills beside the ditches, tulip fields in spring, Zaan houses, cheese farms, wooden clogs and endless cycle paths.
De Holland Winkel has been selling Dutch souvenirs since 2002, from the cheese town of Edam. In this category we have gathered all our fridge magnets with a Holland theme, so you can easily compare, combine and collect them.
Which Holland magnets can you choose from?
Windmills
From a tall tower mill with its wraparound gallery to a polder mill in the landscape. Pick a 3D windmill in relief, a windmill with sails that really turn, or a rectangular magnet with mills and bulb fields.
Tulips
3D tulip magnets in yellow, red, light blue, black and red-white-blue, shiny tulips, tulip bouquets and an orange wooden tulip. Together they make a cheerful bulb field on your fridge door.
Bicycles
The Netherlands has more bicycles than people, so they had to be included. Choose a metal bike with spinning wheels, a Delft Blue or orange bike, an "I Love Holland" bike or a fun comic-style design.
Cheese, cows and villages
A cheese board, a 3D cheese factory, cows in Delft Blue or orange, a Dutch farm girl and a kissing couple. You'll also find Zaan houses, village scenes and shopfronts of a cheese, flower, bike and clog shop.
Delft Blue and vintage
Delft Blue tile magnets, nostalgic designs such as an Art Deco Holland America Line magnet and a Victorian-style XL magnet, plus modern pixel art and a Holland number plate.
Bottle openers and magnet clips
Practical and decorative: metal magnetic bottle openers in pewter, gold and bronze tones, some with glitter lettering. A magnet clip keeps photos, notes and shopping lists in place.
Windmills, tulips and cheese: the classics of Holland
There is a reason the same symbols keep coming back. For centuries, windmills kept the polders dry, and more than a thousand still stand across the country today. The tulip arrived in the sixteenth century and sparked the famous tulip mania of the Dutch Golden Age, when a single bulb could cost more than a house. And cheese has been traded at the markets of Edam, Gouda and Alkmaar for hundreds of years. A Holland magnet may be a small souvenir, but it comes with a big story.
An affordable Holland souvenir for everyone
Magnets are light, flat and sturdy enough to travel in your suitcase or an envelope, which makes them one of the easiest gifts to take home or send abroad.
