Childrens Gifts

In early December, Dutch children leave a shoe by the fireplace in the hope that Sinterklaas will fill it overnight, and in the old days that shoe was often a wooden clog. At De Holland Winkel you will find Dutch gifts for children that suit the tradition all year round. For the shoe there are clogs filled with colouring pencils and a sharpener, playing cards and wooden clog money boxes in all sorts of colours. For playtime, choose a wooden puzzle or memory game, a plush bear, or a cuddly Miffy dressed as a farmer, a farm girl or a footballer in orange, and for the shelf there are dolls in traditional Volendam costume and Miffy music boxes. That way there is always a present with a little piece of the Netherlands in it, whether for a birthday, for Sinterklaas or for nieces and nephews abroad.
