Baby Gifts

In the Netherlands a birth is celebrated with rusks topped with sugared aniseed, known as beschuit met muisjes, and a stork in the front garden, and a Dutch baby naturally deserves a Dutch gift as well. At De Holland Winkel you will find almost ninety of them, from a small gesture to a future heirloom. The favourites are the gift sets with a romper and matching booties or a bib, printed with tulips, windmills, a cow, the kissing couple or an orange lion for the youngest supporter. Miffy fans can choose from baby T-shirts, gift sets and soft clog slippers in Delft blue, orange or pink, and for cuddling and playing there are Holland teddy bears and Woezel & Pip rattles. Looking for something to last a lifetime? A Delft blue birth plate that can be personalised is a gift in the best Dutch tradition. A lovely way to surprise new parents close to home, or to show family abroad exactly where the little one comes from.
