
How does Hollandwinkel.nl work?
The account
Why your own account?
The first time you order something from our shop, you will be asked for
your personal and address information. Hollanwinkel.nl will store this
information into a database, secured by your own private password. The
advantage is that next you time you place an order, you will not again
need to complete all your personal details. Another benefit is that all
your orders become accesible to you only, allowing you to monitor the
status of your order and refer to previous orders. You also have access
to a private adressbook. You only need to login when you are ready to
place an order.
Password
I forgot my password, what to do now?
No problem, through the link "password forgotten" in
the log-in screen, a new password will be created and e-mailed to you.
This password is automatically made by our shop-software. After having
logged-in you can, if you like to do so, change this password.
How can I change my password?
If you ever wish to change your password, you can do so by. Click after
the log-in procedure on "my account" in the navigationbar. By
doing so your account data will appear on screen and below you have the
possibility to update your password.
The shoppingcart
How to handle the shoppingcart?
The shoppingcart is a storage place for the products you have added to
it during your shopping. It is always possible to delete products or change
the number of products you would like to order. Click "Shoppingcart"
at the top of your screen. An overview of all products gathered in your
cart will be given, with a possibility to delete articles or change the
number of items you would like to order.
Log-in
Do I always have to log-in first?
Not necessarily. If you are not registered as a client but you already
have stored some articles in the cart, the shops program will remember
this. If you log-in afterwards, these products will be transferred from
the visitors cart to your client cart. The log-in screen wil mention it
if you cart already contains products. If you do want to pay immediately,
the contents of the car will be saved until your next visit.
The addressbook
Why an addressbook?
This is a very practical option. In this book you can save upto 5 addresses
of friends and relatives and of course several delivery addresses for
yourself. If for instance one of your friends has a birthday, you can
order a delivery to his or her home address. You can access the addressbook
through the "my information" link at the top of the screen.
It is always possible to change or delete these addresses.
Order data and status
Which information can I ask for about
in my orders?
You can ask onl-ine information about your orders, after you have logged-in.
Go to "my account" then click at "previous orders".
On the screen all orders you made untill now will appear. And with that
per order the present status of that order.
The following status messages are possible:
- Processing (your order is received and taken care of)
- Paypal processing (your on-line payment is being processed, we are
waiting for approval)
- on-line payment invalid (your payment was declared invalid)
- product(s) on backorder (your order or a part of it is out of stock)
- cancelled (your order is incomplete or invalid and cannot be processed)
- Customer service (some problem occured and you are asked to get
in touch with us by e-mail service@hollandwinkel.nl)
- Send out (your order has been completely settled)
